About those Snails...
Our slow-moving gastropods may seem like an unlikely choice, but their whimsical nature and unique appearance make them the perfect fit for a museum that celebrates creativity and imagination. As ambassadors of the museum, the snails symbolize the journey of exploration and discovery that awaits inside, inviting all to slow down, take a closer look, and appreciate the beauty of contemporary art in a whole new light.
Oversight
Gainesboro Modern believes that art is a universal language that should be accessible to all individuals regardless of their background or identity including but not limited to people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and differently-abled persons. Our museum showcases artists from diverse backgrounds and perspectives in celebration of the rich tapestry of human experiences.
